Yes, the Arkansas Attorney General's Office has issued multiple warnings about a recurring "Final Notice" toll scam targeting residents. This scam involves fraudulent text messages claiming you owe unpaid tolls and must pay immediately to avoid fines or license suspension.
What the Scam Looks Like

Scammers impersonate toll agencies, sending text messages like:
Quote:“Pay your FastTrak Lane tolls by [date]. To avoid a fine and keep your license, you can pay at [fraudulent link].”
These messages often include instructions to reply with "Y" or open the link in a browser to activate it. The links lead to fake websites designed to steal personal and financial information.
Why It’s a Scam

Arkansas does not have toll roads. These messages are "smishing" scams—a combination of SMS (text) and phishing—aimed at tricking you into providing sensitive information or making unauthorized payments. 
 What to Do If You Receive One
  • Do not click any links or reply to the message.
  • Delete the message immediately.
  • Report it to the Arkansas Attorney General's Office using their Robocall Reporting Form.
  • If you clicked a link or provided information, take steps to protect your personal data:
    • Change your passwords.
    • Monitor your financial accounts for unauthorized transactions.
    • Contact your bank or credit card company to report potential fraud.
